The operation of each of the Card Readers is the same.

Each Card Reader can be identified by either a large grey object with a red light in the centre (Crown Street and Kennedy Street entry points) or the black plastic boxes protruding out of the wall for the car park entries and exits, or a black reader located in each of the four lifts.

Simply place you “electronic swipe tag” near the Card Reader. If you are a valid cardholder, the red light will change to green, and either the door will unlock, the boom gate will rise, the roller shutter will rise, or you may select the floor to which you have access in the lift.

If for some reason you find yourself “locked out” in the fire stairs, an intercom is located beside each door giving direct communication with the Concierge who can provide assistance.
