With your apartment keys, you should also have an “electronic swipe tag”, as well as a key to the common areas and mailbox. Electronic swipes are needed for residents to gain access at all entrances. As the Building Manager or security personnel are not allowed to ‘swipe in’ visitors, residents must instruct all visitors on the use of the video intercom system. The “electronic swipe tag” is coded to you only and provides access to the building from all the main entrances as well as the lift access to your floor. The instructions on how to use the tag and card readers are here. Should you require additional “electronic swipe tags” they are available from the Building Manager for $55 (including GST). To maintain the security of the building, please inform the Building Manager, when you take up occupancy, of the names of each “electronic swipe tag” holder. This allows the Building Manager to record whom you have authorised to gain entry into the building. It also assists in the tracking of lost keys. Common area key for Storage area, Pool access from first floor, Sauna, and Gym You should have another key which provides access to the first floor facilities (Sauna, Gym and Pool), and the storage areas in the basements. Each mailbox is accessed by a small key. You should have received this key with your apartment key. |
