In the event of an emergency, the building is installed with a wet-pipe sprinkler system, hand held extinguishers, smoke exhaust systems, emergency evacuation alarm systems and fire exit signs.

These are provided for the protection of residents and to minimise any damage to the building.

In the event of a fire, an alarm is activated automatically at the local Fire Brigade.

Remember never to use the lifts in the event of a fire.

Under no circumstances must you impede the function of the sprinkler system installed in your apartment. Do not store boxes or position furniture so that they may conceal a sprinkler head or renovations.

Familiarise yourself with all stairwells, locations of fire extinguishers when you move into your apartment.

A Fire Certificate is obtained annually.

Emergency power:

In the case of a power failure the building is supplied with a stand-by power supply, this powers all emergency light & exit signs, the building’s broadcast system & restricted use of the elevators (elevators can only be used to reach the ground level & no other floors)

Pedestrians may exit or enter the building via the west wing ground double doors and garbage area. Cars may exit or enter the building via the usual car park entrances.
